Shopping

Laggan Markets are held every third Saturday of the Month. There is plenty of local produce on sale, from jams, olive oil, lavender products, candles and other homemade goods. It is a nice little country market to enjoy on your Saturday morning. Lindner Quality Socks are also another great shop to visit whilst in town. They are proud to make fine merino wool socks using traditional techniques and finishing by hand behind their shop located in Crookwell. Country Bunches and Top Paddock are boutique stores that have a range of homewares, gifts and accessories.

The Local pub

If you enjoy a wine or a beer the heart of a country town is the local pub. The Laggan Pub was established in 1924, the walls in this pub have heard many a story. Enjoy a beer or vine by the bar or out the front and watch the world go bye.

taralga wildlife park

Taralga Wildlife Park is a 50 minute drive from Rosewood. It is open Thursday to Monday from 10.00am to 4.00pm all year round. The Wildlife Sanctuary showcases a large collection of native and exotic wildlife. The Park also boasts a number of farm animals including miniature ponies, miniature cattle, pigs, sheep and a whole lot more.
